Spitfire flies for the first time since World War 2!

I helped restore RR232 for 2 years, before creating HVA-Factory. This Spitfire last saw action in the 2nd world war. It has taken 13 years in all to re - build from a complete strip down to the last rivet. Congratulations to owner Mr Martin Philips in persevering with this mammoth task. There was hardly a dry eye in the Rolls Royce hangar at Filton Airport (Bristol, UK) last week, when she finally took off, buzzing us at 100 feet before flying off to a new location, as Filton is closing to make way for a new housing development!
